The blocks were done as a block swap in 2012 in one of the quilt guilds that I'm in where members made blocks, signed their names on them, and then they were swapped so that each member ended up with a block from everyone else. I did a variety of background fills in the blocks to emphasize the variety.

Below are some pics of a couple of quilts that I recently finished quilting for a customer. Both are made using an hourglass block, and the usage of a variety of fabrics shows how a relatively simple block can really make a nice looking quilt when the right fabrics are used. 

Below are some photos of a customer's quilt that I recently finished custom quilting for her. There was a lot of ruler work involved with this one, so it took a while, and it's large at 90" x 102".

My wife, Melissa, made this dragonfly wall hanging so I recently quilted it for her. I custom quilted it, doing a variety of motifs in the background. Now she has to get the binding on it so we can get it hung on the wall.

Below are some photos of a customer's quilt that I recently finished custom quilting for her. As you can see it is densely quilted and has a lot of nice texture to it. I always like purple and green together in a quilt as well.
