Here are some photos of a customer's quilt that I recently finished quilting for her. The pattern is called a kaleidoscope quilt because the individual hexagon blocks are made from 6 triangular pieces of the same fabric. Since the fabrics were so busy, I just did an all-over quilting design on it. I think it turned out really nice looking, very dazzling looking!

Here are some photos of a quilt that I recently finished custom quilting for Jim Gatling. Jim is a fellow man quilter here in Arkansas whose quilts always have an artistic aspect to them since he taught art in schools for several decades. I used a rainbow colored thread in the quilting of this, which really pops on the black. I really like this quilt, it has a lot of WOW factor to it.

A
customer brought this vintage Lone Star quilt top to me to custom quilt
for her. Her grandmother had pieced it back in the 1930s, but had
never quilted it. The customer hand-quilted the star, but wanted me to
quilt the white background area since she didn't feel up to doing it due
to shoulder pain. So I was happy to oblige. I decided to fill the entire background area with feathers. I like
how the feathers in the triangular area make a heart motif as well. I
think it turned out really nice, she has a nice family heirloom now.
