Below are some pics of a customer's quilt that I finished quilting for her last night. The pieces are all 3/4" hexagons that she hand-pieced together over 6 years time. The quilt measures 89" x 89" and contains 5,397 hexagon pieces. I quilted it doing a cross-hatching design in the 4 corners, and then free-hand flowers on each of the hexagon "flower" blocks, and then did some more cross-hatching in the center medallion area surrounding a floral design there. I think it's a beautiful quilt, and certainly a crowning achievement for her to have it finished now.
