My "More Than Friends" quilt that I made won 1st place at the Saline County Quilters Guild's Quilt Show this weekend. It's based on the "Friends" pattern which is a William Morris inspired one by Michele Hill. I made it larger by designing and adding the outer border, thus it became "More Than Friends". :) Honored to have won with it.

    I just saw the photos of your quilt on the Quilt Board and came over to visit your blog. This quilt is absolutely beautiful! The outer border that you designed to enlarge it fits so perfectly with the rest of the quilt. I'll be you win a few more awards if you put it in other shows. I am so inspired by it so thanks for that.
