Below are a couple of pics of a small quilt that Melissa made that I finished quilting last night. She started this quilt at a workshop that our quilt guild had back in 2012 when national teacher Mickey Depre came and taught this pattern. It's bright and cheery and will go to our granddaughter if we ever have one some day.

Here's a pic of a t-shirt quilt that I finished making for a customer today. She brought me a bag of the t-shirts that she had collected from 30 years of going to the Toad Suck Daze* festival in Conway each year and I constructed them into the quilt you see here. I like how it turned out! :)

* (Toad Suck Daze is an annual festival held in Conway, AR each Spring. It gets it's name from the nearby Toad Suck Ferry on the Arkansas River. Back when steamboats plied the Arkansas River waters, when the river became impassable due to low water levels, captains and their crews would tie up here and wait for levels to rise. While waiting, they would drink at a local tavern where it was said that they would "suck on the bottle until they swelled up like toads".)

Ready for Christmas? One of my quilting customers is. Here's a couple of pics of a Christmas table runner that she had me quilt for her. I think it turned out really pretty.

Here are some photos of a customer's quilt that I finished quilting for her today. Lots of color in this one! Measures 70" square.

Here are some photos of a customer's quilt that I finished quilting for her today. I like quilting applique quilts since it gives me a chance to do custom quilting and get creative with it. For a sense of perspective, this one measures 45" square, so you can imagine how exact her applique skills were in doing this. She always does a beautiful job with it, and this is another example.

Today I'm working on a t-shirt quilt for a customer made from her Toad Suck Daze t-shirts that she's collected over 30 years. Toad Suck Daze is an annual festival held in Conway, AR each Spring. It gets it's name from the nearby Toad Suck Ferry on the Arkansas River. Back when steamboats plied the Arkansas River waters, when the river became impassable due to low water levels, captains and their crews would tie up here and wait for levels to rise. While waiting, they would drink at a local tavern where it was said that they would "suck on the bottle until they swelled up like toads".  :) Should be an interesting quilt.

Here's a couple of pics of a customer quilt that I finished quilting for her last night. It's small, it only measures 20" x 28", and those strips of fabric finish at 1/4" wide. The abundance of seams made it a challenge to quilt, but I think it turned out nice.
