Now that Fall is here (at least by the calendar), here's a quilt that I recently finished custom quilting for a customer. I like the colors in this, and the quilting actually shows up better on the backside since the fabrics in the front are kind of busy. I need to get out my Fall stuff and start decorating for the season.

Ready for Christmas? Below are some photos of a customer's quilt that I recently finished custom quilting for her. The blocks are made in a traditional log cabin pattern. There are some some large open spaces that gave me some space to do some nice looking feather motifs. I like how it turned out.

A customer brought me this baby quilt to do the quilting of it for her. She made the quilt from her daughter's wedding dress. It's to be a baby quilt for her grandchild that is to be born next week. The 'C' is for their family surname. Since this is going to be a family heirloom, I wanted to knock it out of the park with the quilting, which I did all freehand. I've never quilted on satin before (both top and bottom), so was a bit nervous about how it was going to work out. But it went just fine, I like how it turned out.

Below are some photos of a customer's sampler quilt that I recently finished quilting for her. I like the colors of this one and the pieced blocks that she included on the backing, too.

Here are some photos of a customer's quilt that I recently finished quilting for her. She used a traditional bow-tie block to make the top, so all of the blocks are made the same way but the arrangement of them creates a different pattern. Very pretty quilt that she made for a 6 year old boy.

Below are some photos of a customer's quilt that I recently finished custom quilting for her. It has an interesting story. She made the pink petals of the flowers from a dress that her mother had made for her when she was a little girl. Her mother is elderly now so she's going to surprise her with the quilt next week. I like a feel good story. :)
