Wall hanging, done!

I finished quilting the wall hanging that I was working on from the Mickey Depre workshop that we (Arkansas Quilters Guild) had back in February.  I changed up the flower heads from the ones she had, added borders, etc.  The main fabric line in this is called "Luna Notte" by 3 Sisters.  The blacks were ones that I pulled from my collection to supplement the line.  Quilted on my Gammill longarm.

    Gorgeous! Do you hand-sew your applique or do it by machine. I was wondering how you get such nice points on those leaves?

    Thanks! I machine applique with a buttonhole stitch around each piece.

    I love this! Is there a pattern of this that can be bought? I realize this is 6 years later that I'm asking this, but thought I'd try anyway. Thanks.

    After looking more closely, I think I can do this without a pattern. One question-will one charm pack be enough for the small squares and the flower heads? I love the Luna Notte, but it’s been so long that it’s not available...unless I want to pay $25 for a charm pack. Lol. Thanks for your help. 🙂

      Yes, this is made from one charm pack. The pattern is by Mickey Depre, I think it may still be available from her website.
