Someone asked me the other day if I had done other art besides quilting, so I thought I'd post a few pics of that. I used to paint (oils and watercolor) years ago. I haven't done any in probably close to 15-20 years now. But here's a few of what I did.

Thanks. Painting to me is a lot of work. I really struggled to get it perfect (well, at least what I thought was perfect), and it just frustrated me a lot because of that. Quilting is far less frustrating to me so I enjoy in a lot more.

ReplyDeleteWow This last painting is great. I did paint myself( my grandfather is an artist) and think this last one is stunning. Why don't you copy it in a quilt? Or "paint"it in fabrics?
